#1) START YOUR BEST DAY, EVERY DAY

 

“When you wake up in the morning, you’re always on the edge of a balancing act that could go either way into positivity or negativity.

 

What happens and what occurs to your mind and emotions in the first hour after waking, triggers a spiral of energy and motion that affects the whole rest of your day. It affects your choices, your mood, your mindset, your efficiency, your interactions with others…

 

In short, the whole rest of your day. 

So in this vulnerable time after waking, make sure you provide yourself with happy, positive stimuli to help yourself have the best day possible and manifest more and more happiness.

 

Be a firm guide for yourself, and you may want to prepare in advance in order to make it as easy as possible to stay clear of triggers and negative spirals.

 

Above all mindful of what information and imagery you come into contact with during this time – words and pictures carry energy. So when you wake up, my advice would be to steer clear of news and emails where you’re being confronted with stress, urgency or negativity.

 

Instead, spend the beginning of your day taking a refreshing shower, listening to calming or uplifting, happy music, or meditate, do some journalling, set your intentions for the day or read an inspiring book…

 

Spend this time priming yourself for the day to come, and you’ll notice that every day is a good day.

 

It might take a little effort to start with, but when you can begin to streamline and guide your mornings into a positive state, it will pay dividends for the day and in turn, the whole rest of your life.
