What Are Your Dreams Trying To Tell You? Is Your Soul Working To Get Your Attention? How To Interpret Dreams, Symbols And Secret Messages – To Increase Flow, Positivity And Light On Your Path!
–
Dreams can be powerful messages from our soul, bringing clarity, insight, and guidance we might not notice in waking life.
When our conscious mind is at rest, our soul has a chance to communicate more freely, often revealing what we need to understand for our growth and healing.
If you’ve been having vivid dreams or feeling drawn to explore their meanings, you may already be tapping into your soul’s wisdom.
Here are seven signs that your soul is trying to reach you through your dreams—and tips for interpreting these messages.
–
1. Recurring Themes or Symbols
When certain symbols, places, or people appear repeatedly in your dreams, it’s often a sign that your soul is trying to draw your attention to something important.
Recurring dreams signal that there’s an unresolved issue, lesson, or insight waiting for you to uncover.
How to Interpret It: Start a dream journal and look for patterns in these recurring symbols. Ask yourself: “What do these symbols mean to me personally?”
Try to identify what emotions or thoughts these dreams stir up, as they might reveal hidden aspects of your life or subconscious mind.
–
2. Vivid or Lucid Dreams
If you’re experiencing unusually vivid or lucid dreams, it can indicate that your soul is using the dream state to convey messages directly.
In these dreams, you may feel more aware, as though you’re receiving specific guidance.
How to Interpret It: Pay close attention to any dialogue, symbols, or sensations. Upon waking, try to recall as much detail as possible, writing it down.
Lucid or vivid dreams often come with powerful emotional insights, so notice any strong feelings that linger when you wake up.

3. Feeling of Peace or Clarity After Waking
Waking up with a sense of peace, clarity, or reassurance is a strong sign that your soul has been communicating with you. These dreams might not always contain clear symbols but instead offer an overall feeling of resolution or support.
If you don’t completely remember the dream, don’t worry. It will either come to you later on, probably when you least expect it, or you received the message on a deeper level.
How to Interpret It: Reflect on any themes or symbols in the dream, but also trust the feeling it left behind.
This sense of peace could be your soul’s way of encouraging you to trust your path or reassuring you that you’re making the right choices.

4. Dreams About Water
Water in dreams often symbolizes emotions, intuition, and the subconscious. Dreams of oceans, rivers, or even baths can indicate a deep emotional connection or the need to explore your inner world.
Your soul may be calling you to look within, heal emotional wounds, or flow more freely with life’s changes.
Earlier in life I had repeated dreams about tidal waves.
After I awakened, I realized it was to do with my mother’s fear and worry being directed at me. I was picking up on it unconsciously, symbolizing it as a tidal wave of water threatening to submerge me.
Once I cleared the emotions and began protecting my energy, these dreams went away!

Now, any time I dream of tidal waves or being in the ocean, I know it’s a sign that I should deal with unconscious emotions and energy.
(“Fun” fact, I often dream of being on a school that’s a submarine where I grew up, and I have been shown it’s a sign of myself and others in my generation of that place, being part of a group of souls transmuting old karmic emotions from the city and country in question!
The soul shows up so much if you pay attention!)
How to Interpret It: Think about the state of the water in your dream. Was it calm, turbulent, shallow, or deep? Calm waters may indicate emotional balance, while rough seas could suggest unresolved emotions.
These dreams are often invitations from your soul to explore your feelings and heal any hidden emotional wounds.

5. Messages from Loved Ones or Spirit Guides
If you dream of departed loved ones or spiritual figures, it can be a direct message from your soul, offering guidance, comfort, or even warnings.
Dreams like these may feel comforting, reassuring, or carry a sense of sacredness.
How to Interpret It: Take these dreams as a sign of love and support. Ask yourself what message the person or guide was trying to convey. If you’re unsure, try meditating or journaling on the dream to uncover deeper insights.
At times, this could be actual communication from a loved one or guide – or it could be your soul working to give you a message that it knows you will receive best in this form.
How do you know if it’s “really” a loved one or guide? First off, they will nearly always give you a sign or indication that is vividly conveying that it’s them.
For example, in the dream you smell their perfume, or there is some tangible aspect of the dream that is very palpable and different from a “regular” dream.
Or, you may just feel that the dream is particularly lucid (so clearly that it is as if you’re in waking life).

6. Dreams That Reflect Your Waking Life
When dreams mirror events, emotions, or struggles from your waking life, your soul may be guiding you to view your circumstances from a new perspective.
These dreams can highlight areas where you need to pay attention, shift your approach, or let go.
How to Interpret It: Reflect on the dream as if it were a mirror of your life. Is there something in the dream that relates to your current challenges or desires?
These dreams often provide clues on how to navigate situations in a way that’s more aligned with your soul’s growth.
–
7. Dreams of Transformation or Rebirth
Dreams of transformation—such as flying, traveling, or even death and rebirth—are often signs of personal or spiritual evolution.
Your soul may be signaling that you’re moving into a new chapter, leaving behind old habits or embracing growth.
How to Interpret It: Transformation dreams are powerful indicators of change. Reflect on what in your life might be ready for transformation.
Are there aspects of yourself or your life you’re ready to release? This dream can be a call from your soul to embrace the new and let go of the past.

How to Deepen Your Connection to Soul Messages in Dreams
If you’re feeling called to understand these soul messages on a deeper level, consider starting a nightly dream journal to capture your insights as soon as you wake.
Reflect on patterns, symbols, and the emotional tone of each dream to reveal what your soul might be telling you.
Secret Tip: One of the quickest ways to get an idea of what your soul is “saying” is to pay attention to the colors of objects and scenes in your dreams.
Each color often corresponds to the chakra system, offering insight into the energy centers that may need your attention. For example, a dream with a green tint—or with green objects—can indicate issues related to the heart chakra, while red hues may highlight themes around the root chakra, such as safety and stability.
